There is always something weird going on, no matter where you are. Weirdness is normal, imho.

I suspect that it would be something practical...

I love unicorns for what they symbolise as much as for their beauty.

That many people have trouble seeing the difference between a mask and a face.

Yes.

Not too sure...

That would depend entirely upon the current situation.

See above. I would if I fell in love with a foreigner and he wanted to be near his family, but that is one unlikely scenario. That probably won't ever happen and that is just as well for everyone involved.
